BALPA is among the world’s largest flight crew associations – second in size only to the U S Air Line Pilots’ Association. As a specialist organisation we protect and improve the professional status, pay and conditions of our members.

As the voice of Britain’s aviation professionals our views are taken seriously by companies, the Civil Aviation Authority, Government and Parliament. BALPA is also well respected by the European Commission and international civil aviation bodies.
